RARi Collective:
Build With US
The RARi Collective is a community of filmmakers, creatives, and collaborators committed to bringing bold independent stories to life.
Rooted in creativity, diversity, innovation, and professionalism, this is where:
• Writers connect with directors
• Filmmakers access resources and development support
• Emerging voices find platforms to shine
Whether you're developing your first script or producing your tenth film—create with us, dream with us, RARi with us.

Our Volunteer Initiatives
RARi Collective is the community impact arm of RARi Media, created to build meaningful connections between artists, audiences, and opportunity. We believe storytelling is a powerful tool for cultural change—and that those who tell bold, diverse stories deserve real support. Through creative collaborations and philanthropic initiatives, the Collective supports emerging voices, fosters community engagement, and creates space for socially conscious media to thrive.

Feed the Crew is our first annual philanthropic event—designed to nourish both the bodies and spirits of New York City’s independent film community. In a city where survival is an art form and creation comes with a cost, this gathering offers a moment of healing, connection, and collaboration.
We’re bringing together filmmakers from across NYC to reflect on the current state of the industry, share ideas, and enjoy soul-soothing meals from local restaurants and eateries. Because what's more stressful than living in New York? Trying to make art here!
Where Stories Come to Life!
The Fearless Filmmaking Factory is a developing initiative under the RARi Collective, created to introduce underrepresented youth to the art, craft, and business of filmmaking. Designed to provide early exposure to industry pathways—from screenwriting and cinematography to production and post—this program seeks to open doors for those who’ve traditionally been shut out of the storytelling process.

Creative Community Support
With the rise of remote work, virtual auditions, and the rapid evolution of AI, many artists have felt isolated and uncertain about the future. But filmmaking has always been a collective endeavor—it thrives on connection, shared vision, and community.
It’s time to come from behind our screens and back to the table. To eat, talk, dream, and plan—together.
At Feed the Crew, we ask:
How can we harness our collective strength to impact the industry?
What does unity look like for NYC’s indie creators in 2025 and beyond?
How can we build a support system that helps us tell the stories only we can tell?
Let’s celebrate what we do so we can keep doing it—and keep doing it better, together.
This initiative is being built in partnership with existing 501(c)(3) organizations that already serve creative or system-impacted youth. Rather than recreate the wheel, our approach is to collaborate with community groups doing the work—offering their participants a new lane into the arts through meaningful engagement on film sets and in production environments. Through these partnerships, we aim to bring storytelling to life in tangible ways, helping young people see themselves not only on screen, but behind the camera and in leadership roles.
As the Factory grows, we envision deeper partnerships, more structured mentorships, and eventually, paid apprenticeship tracks that support long-term career development. Each collaboration will be uniquely shaped by the needs of the community and the goals of the project. Whether it’s shadowing a director for a day, helping coordinate a shoot, or taking part in a writing lab, every experience will be built around one core belief: that everyone deserves a seat at the table, and sometimes, the best way to create one is to build it yourself.
